Each crew levels from 1 to 10 with crew XP (60 / 90 / 130 per heist on Easy / Hard / Insane). Pick one direction per crew: the first pick is free, a change costs 2,000 Gold Coins and keeps the crew's level. The choices at levels 4, 6, 7, 9 and the evolution at level 10 are free to change in the Garage. Every path keeps the crew's natural attack, ultimate and passive.
Titan
Strong at a longer, tankier form; holding a point through a whole wave; shoving cops off the crew
Weak at slow, loud and easy to spot; the largest body in the game while in form; slow to recover out of form
Use it for drill and vault holds, escorting the bag pile, breaking a cop line
Body +15%, slower, louder, spotted sooner, slower armour recovery

Phantom
Strong at speed, leaping into and out of the form, bag throws on the run, frequent forms
Weak at a thinner form (less HP multiplier), fragile out of form, protects only itself unless Rally Roar
Use it for bag runs, hit-and-leave fights, reaching a downed crewmate fast
Body −10%, less HP and armour

Lv 10 Primal Dash Primal Dash: Landing Shove or Primal Dash: Exit Leap
Apex
Strong at the form itself as the mechanic — Pawwer stacks built by slams in form that widen, push and heal the form
Weak at no extra durability or mobility (the Apex cost, except one 4th-level pick); weak until the stacks build; stacks reset when the form ends
Use it for long loud fights, bosses and elites, clearing crowds late in the form
Normal body: no Titan durability, no Phantom mobility
